Biography
My research interests include US-UK foreign relations during the Cold War examined through the lens of American and British policies toward East and Southeast Asia.
I was awarded a double major B.A. in History with Honors and Distinction in the Major and in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018. My Senior Honors Thesis focused on Margaret Thatcher鈥檚 domestic policies in the 1980s. I earned an M.A. degree in Contemporary British History at King鈥檚 College London in 2019. My M.A. dissertation was on Conservative party policy and rhetoric toward the Vietnam War and their impact on UK foreign relations with the United States, China, and the European Economic Community, with a focus on the 1964-1970 period when British Conservatives were in opposition.
